If a tree falls and no one is there to hear it… it still makes a noise, don’t be silly.

Today, while washing dishes (stick a pin: you ever notice the strangest things jus come to you when you’re washing something? Especially dishes, or yuh dutty self, ie, when you’re in the shower… but also when washing a car… or like, washing your hands… jus random things…. ok, unstick) I heard my roommate laugh — hysterically — at something on tv. He proceeded to comment, a mumble something like “nah dats jus hilarous!” or something. And I couldn’t help but wonder to myself… if I wasn’t within earshot, would he have had the human instinct to vocalize anything at all? I mean, it’s just like that tree in the forest, only in this case, I figured there must be a psychological explanation: Obviously — it was “jus hilarious!”
